This year’s award season has just been kicked off with the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, which took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (January 8). As usual, the ceremony’s red carpet was star studded and worth looking as Hollywood celebrities were all dressed to impress. It was dazzled with gorgeous ensembles from plunging gowns to multi-coloured dresses, which were designed by the world’s famous fashion brands such as Jenny Packham, Jason Wu, Michael Kors and more.
From Britney Spears to Nina Dobrev, it looked like that the Hollywood elite hoped to steal the show with their own outfits. However, while some stars wowed the audience with their beautiful choice of dresses, several ladies failed to attract much attention.

Nina Dobrev hit the 2014 People’s Choice Awards in a Jenny Packham dress that was paired with Charlotte Olympia shoes. “The Vampire Diaries†actress accessorized her number with a Raowulf clutch and Kara Ross jewels.
Britney Spears stunned on the red carpet in a skintight dress by Mikael D. The gorgeous gown, which featured silver rose applique detailing, was teamed with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. The “Circus†songstress finished off her look with Broken English jewelry.
Greer Grammer looked fabulous in a stunning gold lace Mikael D dress and a pair of Rene Caovilla shoes. The “Awkward†actress also carried a Liebeskind Berlin clutch as accessorizes.
Sara Bareilles looked flawless at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards. The stunning songstress went for a Jill Stuart dress with Moschino shoes. She accessorized her number with Jacquie Aiche earrings, a Charlotte Olympia clutch, and a Nashelle ring.
Allison Williams posed on the red carpet in a sleek blue-and-white David Koma dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. She wore EF Collection earrings and rings to complete her appearance.
Worst
Kat Dennings attended the 2014 People’s Choice Awards in a David Meister Signature dress with a berry-coloured rose pattern throughout. The star wore a Jennifer Behr headwrap while keeping her hair in loose curls. She completed her look with an Amrapali ring and bracelets.
Emily Deschanel failed to impress at the annual ceremony as she opted for a Max Azria dress and Miss Delicious shoes. The actress wore a Swarovski ring and House of Lavande earrings to match her number. She also carried an Edie Parker clutch for the occasion.
Dressed in a Charles Henry dress and Jean-Michel Cazabat shoes, Bailee Madison was among the worst dressed at the People’s Choice Awards. The “Trophy Wife†star wore the minimal makeup to finish off her look.Â
