If you buy a new kids bed in online furniture stores or “off-line” furniture stores, some of them would offer you installation, some are not. If your home is far away from the town, the furniture stores will not install the bed for you. Also if you want move to another city, you should install it by you. There are some skills should know if you are trying to install kids’ bed.

1.    Have all tools well prepared. The Screwdrivers should prepare well before start installation, an electric screwdriver is much better. There are thousands of screws needs to installation. Usually ordinary screwdrivers are hard to control and would slow down the work schedule. So, take one electric screwdriver, which is more convenient and effective, when you are going to install kids’ bed. 

2.    The best place to installation. The best place to installation is the kids’ room. First, place all parts of the bed on the floor. And make sure the spot where you will place the bed parts should in good light and one meter from the wall. Second, double checks if are any power sockets on the wall where you will place the bed against finally. If you already have taken all of them into consideration, the installation job would be much easier later.

3.    Look through the instruction book carefully. Try to figure out the meanings of every number and symbol on the instruction book before you start the work. Some friends may be good at DIY and install the kids’ bed immediately without read the instruction book. He might notice that some screws installed on wrong places while the job almost finished. Usually the screw should put in different places based on it shapes and sizes. It is really an annoyance to remove them and install them again. 

4.    Layout the bed board on floor exactly as the instruction book said. If the place limited, put the bottom bedstead first. Then, install screws on right places.

5.    Now, you need a helper. It would be great having your family or friends hold the bed board for you when you are installing the screws, because some of them need both of your hands to fix. 

6.    Now you can install rest parts one by one. Bear in mind it is unnecessary twist the screws too tight at first time in case that something done wrong and need to do again. Twist all screws tight after double check what you have done.

7.    Tip on install bunk bed. Have the lower bunk board installation well before install the escalator. Most people like to install the lower bunk board first, which is not working later and need to reinstall it.
