X Factor judge Kelly Rowland finally confirmed that she was engaged to be married to her boyfriend Tim Witherspoon after keeping it under wraps for years. The gorgeous, glowing star, who almost never discusses her love life, decided to announce the happy news on “The Queen Latifah Show†on Tuesday (December 17, 2013). She happily held up her hand and flashed her engagement ring on the show, saying, “He put a ring on it.†Kelly Rowland then shared the details of the proposal, revealing that her fiance Tim Witherspoon popped the question in an unusual way.
"He asked me first on Skype. And I was like, 'We're so far away from each other.' I was in, like, Bulgaria somewhere. But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other,†the “Kisses Down Low†songstress said. “And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say 'yes.' I was like, 'I got my best friend to ride through life with.' He really is my best friend."
This is the second engagement for Kelly Rowland, who was engaged once before to football player Roy Williams.
