Actor Cheyenne Jackson was officially engaged to his boyfriend Jason Landau following his split from his ex-husband Monte Lapka on Wednesday (February 5, 2014). The “30 Rock†alum popped the question to his beau after four months of dating. "Cheyenne Jackson and entrepreneur Jason Landau are pleased to happily confirm that they are engaged," the 38-year-old actor’s representative said. The couple have reportedly begun planning their wedding in the near future.
The good-looking pair went public with their romance via Instagram back in October last year. They made their first red carpet appearance together at the amFAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles in December 2013. Cheyenne Jackson also had his fiance Jason Landau by his side at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival as well as the TrevorLive benefit for the Trevor Project. Their relationship has been going strong for months and they are not shy about sharing their PDA-filled snaps of themselves on Instagram.
This will be the second marriage for Cheyenne Jackson, who got a divorce from his hubby Monte Lapka last summer. "It's a sad thing anytime a relationship ends," the actor said. "We had a good long run, almost 13 years...[The split] was mutual and it was amicable. He is a wonderful man."
